Retrospecto is a tool for teams where feedback potential for professional development is more important than annual performance reviews and restrictive KPIs.
We started aligning our teams with the agile principles some 15 years ago. Retrospectives were the main tools for collecting feedback.
Gradually, we introduced the possibility to say thank you on a peer-to-peer basis. Everyone had the possibility to give others doughnuts - sometimes real, most of the time virtual - as a token of appreciation for someone’s work. This took off fairly well especially with those, who did not feel comfortable speaking in front of others during team retrospectives. Doughnuts soon became one of the inputs for annual reviews.
As the number of our teams grew, we realised, retrospectives are falling short is some aspects important to us. Retrospecto takes our journey towards maximising feedback for potential professional development and motivation yet another step further. By giving people the possibility to set their growth ambitions, create their teams, and provide feedback when they have something to say, we also generate meaningful insights into performance and potential of both teams and individuals. Hence, reviews are not benchmarking against past performance, but present real opportunity for further growth.
The most relevant feedback comes from people your work with. In Retrospecto, managed teams and organic teams coexist to maximise feedback potential.
Best feedback is provided without undue delay. With Retrospecto, it takes only seconds to say thank you and help somebody grow.
Trust is Number 1 enabler for providing feedback, that matters.
Retrospecto shall not compromise feedback and its potential for personal development for the sake of auxiliary analysis.
Listen when people have something to say. We embrace the fact, that team engagement and development takes precedence over detailed profiling. Retrospecto focuses on real-time feedback insights.
Retrospecto gives the option to provide value-based
feedback when it is on peoples’ mind.
Picking the right value is not enough? You can always
leave specific or personal note or comment.
To encourage confidence, Feedback can also be given anonymously.
Retrospecto provides a simple yet powerful way to develop both individual team members, as well as teams as a whole.
By setting individual ambitions against shared values, assessing continuous peer feedback, and reviewing progress, Retrospecto helps team leaders not only develop individual talent, but grow teams as a whole.
By following insights across teams, Retrospecto makes it possible to identify well-functioning teams and transfer best practice to teams across organisation.
Benchmarking against shared values gives also clear indication what is required when hiring new talent.
